MARCUS GREENLEAF

Certified Herbalist & Wellness Educator

ABOUT MARCUS

Marcus Bennett's journey into herbal wellness began in the hills of St. Ann, Jamaica, where his grandmother -- a respected bush doctor in her community -- first taught him to identify traditional herbs growing wild in the Blue Mountains. What started as childhood curiosity became a lifelong calling.

After earning his certification in herbalism from the American Herbalists Guild, Marcus spent years traveling across the Caribbean, studying traditional herbal practices in Trinidad, Barbados, and Haiti. He brings this rich, cross-cultural perspective to every article he writes for Jamaica Herbal.

Based in Jamaica, Marcus continues to study and source the finest herbs and superfoods from the island, working closely with the Jamaica Herbal team to bring authentic Caribbean wellness to customers in South Florida and beyond. His philosophy is simple: nature has already provided everything we need -- we just need to know where to look.

Marcus is passionate about making herbal wellness accessible to everyone, regardless of their experience level. Whether you're a seasoned herbalist or just starting your wellness journey, his articles are designed to educate, inspire, and empower.
